Do you think there’s a chance that big tech will ever be held accountable for the addictive technologies they produce when the government has done nothing to regulate the junk food that has flowed for decades into our homes, groceries, schools, businesses and communities to cause the epidemics of diet-related disease and sickness. We are clearly addicted to fat, salt and sugar. We are clearly physically sick from our addiction to fat, salt and sugar. Has the government done anything to regulate companies, industries, businesses or even us to stop 88% of Americans having some form of diet-related disease?
I don’t believe technology eroded the fabric of democracy but forgetting who we are and how we are naturally designed to be healthy, whole and holy human beings that has left us void of a foundation on which we can build healthy relationships with ourselves, our neighbors and with creation. More than ever, I believe we must take matters in our own hands and quit thinking that the government can save us from ourselves. Our only response to the many crisis that we find ourselves in is to simply relearn how to love ourselves, our neighbors and the places we live.
