From My Notes

December 15, 2018

We have forgotten that life consists of seasons. There is season of planting and harvest, spring and winter, immense activity and quiet rest. There’s also internal seasons of sadness, happiness, hopelessness and immense excitement. It’s not only ok to have seasons, but it’s healthy and normal. I don’t know what season you find yourself in but one thing I want you to remember is that a season of sadness and gray winter days can be very healing, and be exactly what you need to create the space for a fertile season of growth.

I want you to know that you are loved beyond anything you could want or imagine and this love frees you to experience whatever your season and not be defined by it. We are perfectly designed to be hopeful and hopeless, to receive and give, to empty out and fill up, and we are healthy when we are living in this ebb and flow of life and love. Be courageous season sisters and brothers and open your hearts, hands , spirits and minds to receive the gifts that this season is offering you. ❤️
