“the real names of global warming are Waste and Greed”

I am posting this article because as I have thought and pondered diet-related disease and sickness, I have realized it is both reflected and determined by the monoculture in which we all have been born into and now live, move and have our being. Obviously, I am not the first to realize what a waste of time, money and effort it is to try and speak about individual health if we are merely wanting to live as consumers. What are the real names of diet-related disease and sickness if not ignorance and arrogance?

I don’t know but I do know that this entire capitalist system has not produced peace, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness, faithfulness and self-mastery. Surely, we are able to see this and that we are not just suffering from an internal crisis but that our internal crisis is reflected in our bodies, our language, our relationships, our environment, our policies and our politics.
